Fei Lu Bin (Philippines!)

I went to the Philippines with Jesse for my Spring Festival holiday and it was spectacular. We stayed on a tiny island called Busuanga in a small town called Coron. Almost everyday we hired a bangka (motorized bamboo boat) to take us out and explore the surrounding islands. The air was so clean, it's the first time in 7 months I haven't woken up sneezing. As you all know I am a lover of food and although the Philippines is not renowned for its cuisine it was JUST what I needed after being in China for the past few months. Since the Americans were there so long, American food is everywhere and it's actually really good. So while for lunch we always had heaping amounts of fresh seafood, I also got my fill of American food I missed. Pancakes or french toast and bacon for breakfast, brewed coffee; for dinner I had my choice of all the American food I've been craving. In fact, Jesse and I agree that a small bistro in Coron serves the best chili and garlic bread we've ever had. So it was a gastronomically pleasing vacation, which is always priority in my book.

And then there were the beaches. And coral reefs. And limestone cliffs. And mangroves and hot springs. It was absolutely the most wonderful place I've ever been in my life. See album --->
